Answer from TNB regarding issue of Video Namewee Fuck TNB Malaysia






Dear all friend in Malaysia,
First of all, I would like to introduce myself, I am Maintenance Manager from TNB, I have been serving for TNB for the past 10 years and I am regretful whatever presented in front of you is very untrue…. We have to understand the nature of the electrification supply system, TNB deal with customer in 3 occasions:




1. Customer request for supply, when you have to fill up the forms,
2. Customer pay the bill at counter, Q&A etc..
3. Customer experience supply interuption and call help for supply restoration
In this incidence , Namewee experiece the 3rd condition, the supply interuption in this case is breakdown, ie a force outage due to technical reasons such as:
i. Third party excavation, could be due to developer while installing the box culvert, could be due to utilities companies excavated power cables during their cable/pipe installation.
ii. Sabotaj/vandalism by hero who dare to cut live cable sometime at 11,000Volts and tripped the system,
iii. Force majore such as thunder storm, floods that supply has to be cut off in order to secure people life from electrocuted.




What you see in this short movie are:
1. Namewee ‘Intentionally’make havoc in TNB Muar, he wanted to scold and teach TNB guys a lesson(before leaving his house),
2. He said after he came back to Malaysia he experiece 3 times outages, BUT when dealing to TNB officer he said “MANY Times”, motive is very clear, it’s to agitate the people by taking a good shot.
3. Eventhough the officer has explain this is a breakdown, he still insist for the notification letter and insist to see the superior at 10:10pm,
4. and the rest are cursing, vulgar words, and very uncivilised signages.




What you don’t see perhaps are:
1. What are the people doing in the lorry, why are they working at 10:10pm?
Ans: These are people that assist in the restoration of supply during the event of breakdown, Energy Commission standard for restoration time is 4 hours for Medium Voltage Tripping(below 66KV).




2. Why the officer ‘Kecil’ working 10:10pm in the office & with his colleagues?
Ans: He is not there to eat the banana and minum kopi, he is the technician who monitor the system and get the outage ticket from Call Management Center (CMC) ~15454 and despatch the repair work to the fault finder team. As far as I know, after deliberate of thought, I can’t figure out any other companies in Malaysia can provide 24hrs of service. Tenaga people will go to your house at 3am if you call them at 15454 if you experiece of blackout in your house, but not calling at 06-9532951, this is an office no. No point to call 10 times as the message clearly ask you to call 15454 for any complaints. Perhaps Namewee problem is like Ama that they don’t understand Bahasa Malaysia language. We can understand Ama problem as they migrate from mainland of China , but not Namewee who was born in Muar. We, TNB, are dedicated to “Keeps the Light On” in your house.




3. Why TNB office has supply but no Namewee house?
Ans: If Namewee stay behind of TNB Muar, perhaps this video will not appear. In the actual world, all substations are link by each other, and each substation has to supply to the respective housing area, since he is riding a bike, I assume TNB office is KMs away from his house, and hence if there’s any technical failure on the underground cable or overhead line, therefore TNB officer has to be mobilized to do the isolation of the circuits and taking measurement(insulation testing) of each section of the cables, and all this takes time.

i’m not namewee fan but i had to say 1 thing, why when name wee ask the guy(kecil) he ask name wee to just ask he to ask his collegue ? he just ignore and went into his desk and eat isn't that very impolite when your customer asking you something? and when you say that he not eating while the video show clearly that he was eating....
another thing is customer come and complain and not buat kacau. While the guard come and say don’t kacau here ? what that mean? you chasing your customer out when they complain? you guy know something? CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT!
honestly and personally thinking is that namewee may say many vulgar word and his action may be wrong, but the way the worker and technician answer him is very wrong. he came and interview asking why had happen but the technicial answer him like he tarak happy jer..
so IMO i think that namewee may be wrong, but TNB also wrong cause 2 reason
1 : technician answer him in a very impolite way
2 : The guard came and ask him don’t kacau here.

WTF? Customer always right? Try bring a knife into a shop and see if you are right.

You stupid. Namewee is clearly mental person and no one can accept his attitude. He should be locked up for the safety of public.

Maybe i'm stupid but that the fact from my IMO.
from what you are saying is that try to bring a knife into a shop and see whether is right or not that can't consider as something i can judge. but what i'm pointing out here is the customer service is really bad from the video you can see. and there doesn't need to lock up for safety of public cause he wasn't killing someone right ? =] you don't get so angry about my post... cause i'm just talking and giving my idea and what i'm thinking. so i'm sorry if i make some stupid joke sorry.

naaa.... i totally agree with all comment include customer always right or not.. but people like namawee and TNB people in video is very very very common view in malaysia..

but let put our-self in their shoes.
1. I agree that what impression of namawee is same as my impression when electricity blank out without notification. plus, last time my hardisk was crash because the stupid blackout. its my problem i dont have UPS installed in my pc. Same goes to namawee, he should know what is UPS work for? and namawee is not only person in malaysia encounter blackout problem. there billion of people experience it including home and office user.. but they should have their backup strategy as power generator as well... if not thousand of patience already died in hospital because this power shortage. Sometime, power failure because of short circuit internally also pointing to TNB as the main root problem.

2. You and me know that TNB is the only one who supply electricity to all and they also getting more complains from small to billionaire company about their service and lot of technology invested to keep power stability. They also aware of any problem could be happen. if not, there should be no one in TNB building and breakdown will be repair on 9am in morning after they punch card.
Plus, the person namawee talk to is technical person... as you all know how many technician attend 'Customer Service' course? do they get paid for customer service? they get pay for do work monitoring and repairing. It fair enough because the TNB guy just answering in low tone compare to namawee. I think if he call to correct number he will get very polite voice from TNB service customer because they trained to.
Plus, I ask you all, who have been working just in the TNB guy situation, one monkey guy come to you and yell lot of complain with high tone. Are you gonna serve that monkey in very very polite manner in 10PM after office hour?? plus that monkey bring a video cam to take conversation you with him, are you gonna be polite to him or you just turn back and go away???

Whay muar no electricity but TNB building have? just a stupid question because;
If TNB also have no electric how they gonna troubleshoot your problem? how they gonna up all machine to detect which area box is blackout. I think namawee should learn how to use power generator.

I not TNB person and never work under them just pay electric bill every month and experience blackout because not pay bills.. hehe. But, all of you should be fair and think professionally. If don't work well for us i think lot of us still using gasoline at night now...

what I see is
1. Namewee was angry but it came with a reason.
2. The attitude if TNB staff (ignorance and did not handle complaints politely) is clearly stated in the video.
3. Good as least someone response and explain over this issue (anyway it shall be sincere and not intent to attack a person)

Now , for example , if your mama force you to drink 1 more glass of milk where as you already drank 3 glasses within hours , and then you complaint to your papa , "I drink MANY times liao mama still force me to drink. You get it?

And there are 2 reason why people vulguring.. First , happy (funny) and another? of course angry / disappointed lo. From the OVERALL of the video , can you open your eyes bigbig why he's vulguring?

Another 1 , can you spot down how impolite the officer and the guard? Ask him call the manager , go there there and there.. Ask him for the address , I dunno , go find out yourself? << good officer?
And clearly from the video , he is just sitting there and eating?

Lastly , in the video , again open your eyes bigbig , he states that he called 15454 also? Didn't you see it? Bastard!

When your service/customer service failed, you admit it.

We are not some bunch of kampung boys to believe in ur twisted facts.

Please bear in mind that Namawee isnt the only one experiencing your "efficient" service..

Everyone is entitled to their own opinions and if you do not like it and do not want to be in the same category as those TNB staff, say it nicely.

Do not fight fire with fire..

TNB supply you uninterrupted 24 hours of electricity everyday but once the blackout happened.. customer scream like mad.. i guess will not remember the good deeds..
